Important information about the coronavirus (COVID-19)

To protect yourself and others, if you think you have Coronavirus, do not go to a GP, pharmacy or hospital

Medication Requests - Important changes

This is only relevant if you do not have access to any GP online services and normally come into the practice to request medication.

With the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), the government advises that any unessential travel is to be avoided.

For those patients who normally come into the practice to request medication, we have set up a dedicated WhatsApp medication request platform so you now don’t need to visit us in person.

How it works:

– Add 07421 267870 to your contacts

– Open WhatsApp and find us in your contact list (your phone must have an active WhatsApp account installed)

– Send us a picture of each medication item you are requesting. Don’t forget to include your name and DOB in the message.

We aim to process these requests within 3 working days.

Patient Participation Group (PPG)

We are always striving to improve the standard of care we provide you, our patients. To do this we need you on board.

The PPG is a selection of patients and practice staff who meet on a regular basis to think up ways to make a positive contribution to the services and facilities we provide.

The group is chaired by Mr Ian Jefferson, who is one of our longest registered patients, and is co-ordinated by our PPG Secretary Musrat Hussain.

Home visits are for those whose medical condition means they are unable to come to the surgery.

To request a same day home visit, please ensure you ring the practice before 10:30 am. This gives us enough notice to arrange for a doctor to see you.

Calling after 10:30 am means we may not be able to offer you a same day home visit. In these cases, we can offer you a home visit for another day.

For out of hours visits, call 111.
